These pictures show how good Japanese people should be presented to the rest of the world. The allies should have dropped more atom bombs on these vile things known as Japanese. They were, and still are, animals, and it was a great cull by the dropping of two atom bombs. Should be more of it.

They're currently a more successful culture than ours, and Japanese-Americans are more successful than almost all immigrants that come to the U.S. Must be a shame to be ignorant.

It is regrettable that the aftermath of dropping two atomic bombs were suffered by the next innocent generation. However, Many more American and Japanese lives were spared by dropping the bombs which averted an invasion of the Japanese homeland. Let us not forget that many more times the number of Japanese lives were destroyed by the torturous atrocities committed by the army of "a more civilized people" as the Japanese believed themselves to be. They have never fully accepted responsibility for their reprehensible acts against their neighbor states. So pardon me and those like me for not being the apologetic American for using the bomb.

It seems that some of the people posting here think they are different than the rest of us. Remember that we are just humans, the children we see here are the innocent victims of people who like the "gentlemen" commenting here, had their heads filled with garbage. Idiocy is universal and a human condition, as you can see not only in the Photos, but also in the "fine" statements we got here.

I can not believe this post on October 11 2009. What a cold hearted person you are. I work with these people everyday and they are far from vile. They are beautiful people. If anything, we Americans should strive to be more like them. There culture is one of the most beautiful cultures in the world.
"They were, and still are, animals" Are we any better? You need to a look into our own history my friend.

@Stu
What the... are you talking about - what invasion? The bombs were dropped after Postdam conference. Japan in fact had already lost the war, Japanese weren't able to put up any resistance. The bombs were a way for US to:
1. Convince the European countries of the 'Big Three', that they shouldn't try any trick on the US. After all nobody knew if Americans had more such bombs or not...
2. Test the use of the new war device in the field, which is always different than conventional tests.

If in US schools people are taught, that the bombs were used 'for the greater good', so that less people die during the attack on Japanese soil, then it's just crude indoctrination. You just have to use a bit of your mind to realize it is so.

The U.S. never had to drop that bomb. They only wanted to show off their strength to the S.U. If the Soviets had come in to help take down Japan, all the credit would've gone to them and the U.S. is just that selfish. We had to show off our muscles to them. The atom bomb should never have been created.

The comment made on October 11, 2009 only proves to me how disgustingly ignorant some people remain in this supposedly enlightened age. If any government officials are reading this post, the individual that made that comment on October 11, 2009 should be proof positive of the horrible things you do to the American public when you continuously siphon money from our educational system.

All wars, death & killing are sad and horrible. But, as said before, many more American and Japanese lives were spared by dropping the bombs which averted an invasion of the Japanese homeland.
USA is STILL the best country in the world. So, love it or leave it, but don't stand there and bash it.

I think if it were any other country that got the very same treatement I don't think they would have been able to survive like Japan. You cannot destroy a country that is spiritual. I am very proud to be half-japanese. Thank-god for the Kamikaze, and anyone who fought against the enemy in Japan.

i just visit this page because i had to make a posting on my blackboard about Hiroshima and Nagasaki, i agree with some people here who said that it was absolutely unnecessary to drop the 2 bombs, because Japan was so weak to fight , it was muscle show from the US for other countries, as for that comment made on OCT 11. at 1:50 am, you have to get some education my friend, i just couldn't believe the crap you said, you think because you are American, you are the perfect person on the planet, get a life you stupid f**k, those kids are the result of a stupid decision made by a president who found himself in a position no one want to be after FDR died, Truman has to finish the job, it was a decision that will haunt the US for a very longtime.

This is sad. I'm crying every time I see the result of war. No man or woman or child are better than the one who stands next to you.
I might not be that old, but my heart feels the pain of what humanity is doing to our world, and what have already been done. USA are not the greatest country in the world. Neather are China or France or Brasille. We have to understand that we are all the same.
You who called the japanese people animals, have you ever stopped and considered that we are all animals? We are destroying each other and the world and for what? We should try helping each other building a good world.
I am nothing but a kid still. Only 15 years old. For us who are young now it's a great pain that the history have gone like this.
We are finally starting to think about saving our world from destruction, and that is good. But saddly i don't think we can make it. All the hatred and the old and new feelings between the countries in the world are blocking our way out. I am already prepared that we might not live much longer. Can you say the same? and can your children? and grandchildren?

and to galactic eyes i guess we were being more like them, no mercy was how they went into every war, and my history reminds me of my uncles that were killed by japs like animals for owning a succesful sesame oil factory

I have chills.. I am moving to Japan in less than a month. I'm disgusted by the comment made on October 11, 2009 1:55 AM. You are a pathetic being, and sadly don't deserve the useless life that you lead.

Japan is a beautiful culture and the people are overly passionate about their people, their land, and their culture. For the longest time America only said we dropped bombs on Hiroshima schools would not mention Nagasaki.

I'm ready to leave this country, and to the rest of you I wish you the best of luck, and hope the world is rid of the savage people like October 11, 2009 1:55 AM.

Anonymous said...

I admit they were absolutely wrong in trying to take over other land, especially the pacific since im from there ... but still, the bombing was horrible. and these poor things didnt deserve that, it wasnt their fault theyre parents wanted to take over the world. and i hope if there are more bombs, they drop on you!

does anyone realize how many lives this saved? we saved millions of soldiers lives (both american and japanese believe it or not) with this. i do not necessarily believe it was at the time justified, but i do believe it had many positive effects on the world. yes ok it was an atrocity and one of the worst forms of genocide that ever occured. but we dont use atomic bombs anymore. we use something called thermonuclear weapons, which are so powerful they require an atomic explosion just to start the actual detonation. if we hadnt done this leaders today would be much less hesitant to using these devices.

Anonymous said...

Reading all this i begin to think of the inventor of the atomic bomb. I don't think Einstein wanted this when he figured the formel out.

I don't say that the japanese people were angels because they were not. But who of us can honestly say that our contry have no history of terrible behavior?

The atomic bomb should never have been made, but we can't do anything now.

Its rather sickening how people DONT KNOW HOW BAD THE JAPANESE REALLY WERE... the atomic bomb didnt even equal the ground to how many the Japanese TORTURED, MAIMED, RAPE, EXPERIMENTED on.
Jesus christ people... the atomic bomb SAVED LIVES!!! my god! do some goddamn research on the japanese in ww2 before you open your mouths about how the atomic bomb was such a travesty!

if anything is educated us on how fragile the earth is when it comes to radiation.
